Parents who have experienced a suspended drivers license and or trade/professional license suspension, or passport for failure to pay child support. This matter will be addressed at a National and State level.

WHY WE ARE TAKING THIS ACTION
- We are aware of responsible parents experiencing suspended drivers license (personal or commercial) and suspended trade/professional license for failure to pay child support.
- We know many parents use personal and business vehicles for traveling to/from work and some are required to maintain a valid drivers license to qualify for work.
- We are aware a responsible parent with a trade/professional license must have licensure to secure employment.
- We believe responsible parents should not be penalized for failure to pay child support to the extent of a suspended license for driving legally or for employment purposes.
- We are aware many responsible parents are restricted by a denied or revoked passport.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
If you are a parent and:
- Your Drivers License was SUSPENDED for failure to pay child support.
- Your Commercial Drivers License was SUSPENDED for failure to pay child support.
- Your Trade/Professional License was SUSPENDED or REVOKED for failure to pay child support.
- Your Passport was SUSPENDED or REVOKED for failure to pay child support.
WHAT WE NEED:
- Parents to provide personal information for the type of license suspended (or passport), state of residence, if incarcerated and any info you would like to share to help us understand your situation.
